What this site is
A Florida reference for one narrow question, attached to a phone number for the cases where the answer is that you are on your own.
Why it exists
If an animal dies on your property in Florida, working out whose problem it is takes longer than it should. There is no statewide service and no statewide rule. Responsibility is set county by county and city by city, and neighboring jurisdictions publish rules that contradict each other outright. One county tells residents they may bag a small animal and put it in their own cart. The county next door names dead animals as something the cart will not take. Both are current, both are official.
So the county pages here exist to save you that hour. They are built by going through each agency's own published page, quoting it, and dating it.
How it makes money
Florida Dead Animal Removal sells advertising and routes the calls that advertising brings in. It is not a wildlife company and not a removal contractor. Nothing is collected, carried or disposed of in this name. There is no premises behind it, no vehicles, no field staff and no permits held.
Where an independent operator covers an address, that operator does the work, sets the price and invoices the customer directly, and answers for their own insurance, permits and disposal route. This site is paid by operators, not by the people who call it.
What it does not claim
- No operator coverage is confirmed in any Florida county at present, and nothing here implies otherwise.
- No prices, because there is no routed operator whose prices could honestly be published.
- No arrival windows, no same-day promise and no around-the-clock claim.
- No licensing, insurance or certification claims. Florida does not license dead-animal or nuisance-wildlife removal as a trade, and the state wildlife agency's operator directory is a voluntary listing rather than a credential.
- No reviews or ratings, because there are no customers yet to have written them.
When we say it is not your job
A fair share of calls turn out to be public-property cases, and those get pointed at the right agency rather than converted into work. That is deliberate. A site that took money for something a city would have done for free would not be worth running, and it would not survive the first person who found out.
